Simpsons Poster Task 2

We began by generating ideas on a page:

Our strongest idea was to incorporate the bbq idea through the tongs, and the gaming idea through the use of pac-man and target both characters by including both their heroes/idols and portray the community/neighbourhood idea through holding hands of the characters.

We portrayed the idea of pacman eating their heroes as an emergency and then used this idea to link to one of the benefit of knowing your neighbours.
We then put the "street bbq" in a speech bubble to show conversation and community.
We also reinforced the bbq theme by giving pacman a 'steak eye'.

Update: During class show-and-tell/critique, we realised that we hadn't considered using any rhetoric devices in our poster, so that's something to keep in mind and work on for next time.
